Manel graduated in Musicology at the Autonomous University of Barcelona and holds a diploma in Tourism from the University of Girona and in Piano from the Conservatorio Superior de Música del Liceu de Barcelona.

He has been an opera and classical music critic for the newspaper El Periódico de Catalunya and is a regular contributor to various media and public entities in the field of opera and classical music. He is currently Director of Fidelio Artist.
