-After a series of concerts in Italy, the Italian tenor will travel to Sofia and Taichung City.
Over recent months the Italian tenor Andrea Carè´s engagements have been taking him to some of the most prestigious venues in the world. After his recent performances in London (Carmen, Royal Opera House), Detroit (Tosca, Michigan Opera Theater) and Parma (Tosca, Teatro Regio), the Turin-born artist has been in the limelight in his home city for a concert of Lieder and his first recital as a crooner, singing the legendary Frank Sinatra´s repertoire, at the Jazz Club in Turin.
After this spell in Italy two new engagements await him. On the 3rd June he will be in Sofia (Bulgaria) for an opera gala alongside the Korean tenor Davide Riu and the Venezuelan tenor Reinaldo Ramirez-Droz, who, like Carè, are pupils of the renowned soprano Raina Kabaivanska. The programme these three tenors will sing includes some of the most popular opera arias, and they will be accompanied by the Sofia Philharmonic Orchestra and the Svetoslav Obretenov National Philharmonic Choir.
Some days later, on the 17th June, Andrea Carè will be in Taichung (Taiwan), where he will make his debut with the Taiwan Symphony Orchestra in the role of Mario Cavaradossi, in Tosca, in a concert-version of the opera. The Puccini opera, which has brought the Italian singer so much success, appears in his diary again in September for his debut at the Finland National Opera in Helsinki.
